Valdez scores thrice; 3BB falls to Supreme


Local star Alyssa Valdez fared better in her second match in the Volleyball Thailand League but her squad 3BB Nakornnont still fell in straight sets to Supreme Chonburi 16-25, 21-25, 21-25 earlier today at the ChonBuri Municipality Sport Stadium in Chonburi, Thailand.

The Batangas-native did not start the match, coming in late in the first and playing the rest of the contest. The three-time Philippine V-League MVP, Valdez scored three points, twice off her signature drop shot and once off an ace.

Chonburi sports Thai National Team standout Kongyot Ajcharaporn and American import Chloe Mann.

Nakornnont falls to 5-5 in the for fourth in the standings while Supreme maintains top billing at 11-0.

Valdez and 3BB will next face Rangsit University on Sunday, February 19.
