After a disappointing 2016 campaign , the Cignal HD Spikers are poised to take are poised to take charge in this year’s PSL season after signing Army’s three leading scorers – Jovelyn Gonzaga, Royse Tubino, and Rachel Daquis.

According to newly-hired head coach George Pascua, the monumental additions were necessary given Cignal’s desire to get back on top the PSL totem pole.

“Maganda ‘to kasi talagang solid ‘yung players na papasok. Gusto ng management na maging mas maganda ang resulta ng season namin kumpara last year kaya talagang ni-revamp nila ‘yung roster,” Pascua told Tiebreaker Times.

Daquis, who recently had her jersey retired by FEU, had played for Army for nearly a decade as a civilian player, Gonzaga started her club career with Army five years ago, while Tubino enlisted in 2015 after she had spent a PSL season with Cignal.
