Most athletes have a huge sense of gratitude for their respective alma mater, so much so that they’ll be willing to give back to the program that nurtured their talents.
That’s exactly the case with several St. Scholastica’s College alumnae in Mika Reyes, Dzi Gervacio, Michelle Cobb, Jessey De Leon, and Pia Gaiser — all of whom have pitched in support of the school’s Tanggapan ng Kalinga #ProjectCOVAID auction.
And the ones who will benefit from their generosity are the families severely affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Reyes and Cobb have put up their Petron and F2 Logistics jerseys, respectively, on the auction block.
Also up for bidding are Gervacio’s Ateneo de Manila University threads, De Leon’s University of Santo Tomas jersey, and Gaiser’s University of the Philippines uniform.
St. Scholastica product Camille Ramos has also contributed her La Salle jersey back when she was a cager in UAAP Season 74.
Meanwhile, Justine Ferrer’s Thunder Eagles kit is also up for grabs.
The starting bid for each item is at PHP 1,500.
The proceeds of the campaign, which aims to raise PHP 88,000 for the 88 most vulnerable families for a week, will go to the Santisima Trinidad community.
