After claiming the first savage of MPL Season 16, Kenneth “Yue” Tadeo couldn’t contain his emotions as he etched his name in the league’s history books.
In an exclusive interview with Tiebreaker Times, Yue shared his joy after securing the rare feat in his career.
“Hindi ko siya ine-expect kahit kanina di ko alam na naka-Maniac na pala ako. Ta’s nung nakita kong Maniac, yun Savage na yun,” he said, recalling the moment after their sweep against AP Bren.
Although Yue remained focused on closing out the game, the chance to grab a Savage momentarily took over.

“Wala namang tumatakbo sa isip ko that time. Nung naka-Maniac na ako, ang sinasabi ko lang, ‘Akin, akin’,” he added, smiling.
With that, Yue became just the third mid-laner — joining Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel and Yuji “Yuji” Aizawa — to achieve one of the toughest in-game feats in the league.
“Masaya, kasi bihira lang maka-savage, especially sa mga mid-laner,” he emphasized.
Fueled with momentum, AURORA will look to finish the first half of the regular season strong as they face Omega Esports on Saturday, September 13.
