Yellyhaze torn between Hadji, Edward for Hall of Legends vote

Nexplay Evos midlaner Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon is still unsure whom to vote for between former teammate Salik “Hadji” Imam and Blacklist International exp laner Edward “Edward” Dapadap in the ongoing MPL Philippines Hall of Legends voting.

When asked why he would choose Hadji, Yellyhaze replied candidly with a laugh, citing their personal connection as the reason for voting.

“Si Hadji siguro… Wala eh. Tropa ko yun eh,” he said with a laugh.

Hadji is a two-time MPL PH champion with Blacklist International and also won the Regular Season and Playoff MVPs in Season 8. He was also part of the Blacklist quintet, together with Edward, that won the M3 World Championship in Singapore.

Turning serious, Yellyhaze explained why Edward is one of the candidates who deserves to get a spot given the accolades he has achieved in his seven-season career in the MPL PH.

“Pero kung ano talaga si Edward [ang iboboto ko]. Kasi parang dati pa lang, parang deserve niya na talaga dapat yun. Ewan ko kung bakit hindi siya napunta sa Hall of Legends,” said Yellyhaze.

Similar to Hadji, Edward is also one of the winningest players in the MPL Philippines with three titles, along with Playoff MVPs in Seasons 7 and 10.

“Kung magiging biased ako, si Hadji… Pero kung para talaga sa ano, si Edward.”

The results of the Hall of Legends voting will be announced before the start of the Season 11 grand finals match on May 7.
