Wise, OhMYV33NUS carry Blacklist to next round of ONE Esports: MPLI

Wise and OhMYV33NUS brought out their iconic heroes to ignite Blacklist International’s come-from-behind Game Three victory over Resurgence, 2-1, in the ONE Esports Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Invitational, Sunday afternoon.

The newly-acquired duo summoned Harith and Estes, respectively, to close out the Singapore-based Resurgence.

It was a tight-knit affair in the early game, but the MPL-MY/SG fourth placer took control of the match after containing OHEB’s Hayabusa and crippling Blacklist International’s team fight potential.

Resurgence secured the lord entering the 14-minute mark to try and bag the series. Fossa (Atlas), though, made a costly error which gave the Filipinos all the space they need to mount a comeback.

Fossa popped his ultimate on ESON (Jawhead) for a solo Fatal Links, which backfired for Resurgence. Blacklist International then took down ly4Iy4Iy4 (Brody) and Sana (Khaleed) in exchange.

Another clash ensued near Resurgence’s serpent pit. And Blacklist International made sure to go for the jugular this time.

Fossa went in for another Fatal Links, but the Blacklist contingent was quick to evade the initiation. In just a few seconds, Blacklist International completed a five-man wipe to advance to the next round of Bracket C.

Wise spearheaded the win with five kills, a death, and four assists. Edward (Lunox) put up three kills, a death, and seven assists, while OhMyV33NUS added two kills, a death, and seven assists.

On the other hand, Sana had six kills, two deaths, and five assists for Resurgence, who had the chance to close out the series after winning Game One.

Blacklist International will go up against Geek Fam Indonesia in the next phase.
