Four Filipino squads will make up the Dota Pro Circuit Southeast Asia Regional League upper division after Vice Esports snatched the final slot, Thursday.

Vice Esports dominated Malaysia’s Galaxy Racer via a 2-0 sweep in the closed qualifier stage to seal their upper division seat.

Michael “Enryu” Ladines put up a dominant performance in the opener, finishing with 11 kills, a death, and 17 assists with Mars while mid-laner Mark Anthony “Bob” Urbina finished with nine kills and 18 assists for Vice Esports.

Support Joshua “Samael” set up Vice Esports’ 33-6 thrashing of Galaxy Racer with 25 assists on his Mirana.

Vice Esports sustained their momentum in Game Two, but this time it was carry Jinn “Palos” Lamatao who stole the show with his 14-5-13 kill-death-assist tally using Morphling.

With the victory, Vice Esports joined fellow Filipino squads Neon Esports and Execration along with TNC Predator, who received a direct invite for the upper stage.

Filipinos playing overseas will also take part in the SEA upper-division with Karl “Karl” Jayme and Carlo “Kuku” Palad representing South Korea’s T1 and Djardel “DJ” Mampusti and Polo “Raven” Luis bannering Malaysia’s Fnatic.

Boom Esports of Indonesia and 496 Gaming of Vietnam completes the eight-team field.
