Vic Manuel should have made his return to the Alaska Aces in their 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup opener versus the Columbian Dyip on Sunday night, but those plans stalled yet again.
Last Monday, Manuel felt pain in his calf, forcing him to miss practices. With him still sidelined, the 31-year-old hasn’t played a game since the 2018 Governors’ Cup Finals versus the Magnolia Hotshots.
So may rehab akong isang linggo pa,” he said.
After Sunday’s match which they won, 111-98, the Aces have a tight schedule, as they will play three games in nine days. And for Manuel, he aims to return in one of those games.
For now, though, one thing is certain for Manuel.
“Nanggigil na nga ako eh. Gusto ko nang maglaro.
“Parang noong ayon, three weeks na akong nagpa-practice, nakakabalik na sa kondisyon, tapos nagkaproblema uli sa right leg,” he closed.
