The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) is set to raise the curtains of its collegiate division volleyball tournaments for Season 82 on March 3 while implementing a playdate every Tuesday, at least for the first round.
Unlike in seasons past, the league has decided to carry out one men’s and one women’s game every Tuesday.
This is to cope with lost time due to the postponement of games several weeks ago in light of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
The opening matches of the tournament will feature the men’s and women’s teams of Far Eastern University and University of the East on Tuesday at the SM Mall of Asia.
The league will then push through with its alternating division schedule of matches every Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Games on these playdates will still be at 9:00 am, 10:30 am, 2:00 pm, and 3:30 pm.
