The question for UP this season is, can they beat anyone other than UE?
The same question was asked of their indoor volleyball team last season, and was answered with a resounding yes. Now the tandem of Arylle Magtalas and Hannah Mangulabnan have to prove the same for their beach volleyball matchup as they have already beat UE in straight sets.
The best bet for the other UP can beat is Ateneo if the tandem of Morente and Maraguinot cannot find chemistry and Alyssa Valdez sits out the rest of the season, but I still wouldn’t put money on that.
MEN’S
Julius Raymundo and Alfred Valbuena are basically in a battle with UE as to who will wind up with a winless record this season. They put up a valiant fight against last year’s runners-up but UST was just too much for them. And so will the rest of the UAAP be.
If you were to put a gun to my head and made choose who would win, I’d first ask you why you’re pointing a gun at me for such a trivial issue. But then I would choose UP.
