Four months ago, Team Falcons PH was just one win away from booking a return trip to the MLBB Mid-Season Cup.
But come Season 16, the M5 World Champions found themselves at the bottom of the standings after four weeks, reeling from seven straight defeats.
After enduring setback after setback, the team finally broke the curse with a breakthrough triumph over Twisted Minds, leaving coach Robert “Trebor” Sanchez in tears.
“Yung ibang player ko naiyak eh, pati na rin ako naiyak kasi sobrang ganda talaga ng pinakita nilang laro today,” shared Trebor on the emotional moment in an exclusive interview with Tiebreaker Times.
“Sobrang tears of joy din. Nakahinga kami ng maayos.”
Throughout the losing streak, Trebor faced repeated criticism from fans, who questioned his drafts, strategies, and leadership.
Despite remaining at the bottom of the standings after the loss, Trebor expressed confidence in his team’s chances to make a playoff push in the last three weeks of the regular season.
With renewed confidence and newfound motivation, Team Falcons PH now look poised to go on a winning run as they face TNC Pro Team and Smart Omega in Week 6.
