T1’s Kuku out of Singapore Major due to ‘health problem’

T1 just received a huge blow heading into the ONE Esports Singapore Major.

This, as Filipino offlaner Carlo “Kuku” Palad is set to miss the Major due to a ‘health problem’, the organization announced Thursday morning.

“Due to the recent health problem of ‘Kuku,’ ‘Forev’ will be a stand-in and play for our team. Please look forward to T1 Dota 2 team in Singapore,” the South Korean squad announced on its Facebook page.

Standing in for the Filipino Dota 2 icon is Korean offlaner Lee “Forev” Sang-don, who was part of the original roster of T1 back in 2019.

The two-time The International veteran last played for Hoyo in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season One-Southeast Asia Lower Division where they finished at seventh place.

T1 will open its wild card campaign against Monaco Gambit on March Saturday, 27 at 10:00 am.

The team will resume its day at 2:00 p.m. when they face Vici Gaming and Team Liquid at 4:00 p.m.
