T1’s chance of getting out of the ONE Esports Singapore Major wild card phase just got slimmer.

T1 got obliterated by the Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei-led Vici Gaming in Game One, with the Chinese squad outscoring the Southeast Asia representative 28-to-13. Vici Gaming stepped on the gas pedal in Game Two, sealing the 2-0 sweep through a dominant 37-10 outing this time led by Xiong “Pyw”‘ Jiahan.
The 25-year-old offlaner finished with 11 kills and five assists against four deaths with his Bloodseeker in the opener to set up the tempo for Vici Gaming while Pyw had seven kills, a death, and 23 assists playing Luna in Game Two.
Filipino midlaner Karl “Karl” Jayme was the lone bright spot for T1 against Vici Gaming as he put up six kills, four deaths, and two assists with his Death Prophet in Game One.
T1 hit another brick wall to end its day as they went up against European powerhouse Team Liquid.
Team Liquid wasted no time dispatching the SEA contingent, putting up a 34-4 clinic in Game One spearheaded by Michael “miCKe” Vu, who unleashed 11 kills and 17 assists with no deaths playing Io.
The 21-year-old Swedish carry had another monster outing in Game Two, registering 18 kills and 12 assists against two deaths in the 37-11 victory.
The Kuku-less T1 started the day with a 0-2 sweep from AS Monaco Gambit.
T1 will try and salvage its campaign against Team Nigma at 12:00 pm and PSG.LGD at 2:00 pm on Sunday.
