San-En expects Thirdy Ravena to miss three months

Thirdy Ravena suffered another tough blow to his campaign.

Coming off a successful surgery to the metacarpal oblique fracture on his index finger, San-En is expecting Ravena to only make a full recovery in three months.

Ravena underwent the procedure last Thursday.

This will result in the 6-foot-2 Asian import missing more games for San-En.

Ravena was not able to play in the first 10 games of NeoPhoenix due to travel restrictions.

Last November 27, the Ateneo product missed four more games after contracting the coronavirus.

Ravena injured his finger during San-En’s game versus Shibuya last January 2 after landing on it during a loose ball scrum.

All in all, Ravena has only played in 12 games so far, averaging 8.8 points, 3.67 rebounds, and 1.58 assists a game.

San-En has five more games scheduled this month and seven for the month of February.

NeoPhoenix sit in ninth place in the West District of the B.League with a 5-22 slate.
