The 20th season of the NCAA-South formally opened last October 26 during an opening ceremony at the newly-built PCU-Dasmariñas gym, where most of the basketball matches will be held.
Eleven schools will see action in this year’s NCAA-South that will be hosted by PCU-Dasmariñas.
“We expect a high level of competition this season. As host school, we will do our best to make the season a successful one,” said NCAA-South Policy Board president Jordan Ramos.
NCAA-South Management Committee chairman Juanito Belandrez said basketball, volleyball, chess, and taekwondo will be played in the first phase, while football, badminton, table tennis, aquatics, futsal, beach volleyball, and tennis will be played in the second phase, with baseball to be played as a demonstration sport.
