Pheww on win streak: ‘Simula nung dumating si Coach Duckey, sarap lagi ng pagkain’

After head coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro missed the team’s opening debut loss to Echo, the team has not lost a single series and continues to hold the top spot in the standings.

Midlaner Angelo “Pheww” Arcangel jokingly credited the hot streak to “Chef” Duckey’s offering to the team that gives him a boost come tournament days.

“Simula nung dumating si Coach Duckey, sarap lagi ng pagkain,” said Pheww.

“Masarap siyang magluto ng iba’t ibang klase ng putahe. Pinageeksperimentuhan niya tapos kami kumain. Kaya mas lalo kaming ginaganahan maglaro.”

Turning serious, assistant Coach Vrendon “Vren” Lin thinks it’s consistency and the open-mindedness of the team that has brought them success so far.

“Siguro consistency lang ng team. Sobrang dedicated talaga nila magtraining,” shared Coach Vren.

“At the same time, open din sila sa criticism kaya di magbukas pa kami lalo na sa mga losses namin. Specially nung mga one day in between matches namin gaya nung Week 1.”

Bren is currently the hottest team in the league with a seven-game winning run, taking victories against all the teams in the MPL PH.

They will next face Smart Omega to shoot for their eighth straight win.
