PFL: Lopez Mendy scores brace as Kaya routs ADT in CPA final rematch

Defending Copa Paulino Alcantara champions Kaya-Iloilo sealed its third win with a 4-0 humbling of the Azkals Development Team, Wednesday evening at the PFF National Training Center in Carmona Cavite.

Forward Robert Lopez Mendy scored in the 19th and 29th minutes of the match with fine finishes to set Kaya on its way towards strengthening its hold on top spot of the elimination round table.

In between Lopez Mendy’s goals, Carlyle Mitchell scored a header off a Daizo Horikoshi assist at the 23rd minute.

With the game already won just before halftime, Horikoshi added to Kaya’s tally at the 80th minute to cap off what was a comfortable evening for coach Yu Hoshide’s men.
