Due to bad weather, the Philippine Basketball Association has postponed Game Two of the best-of-five semifinals series pitting the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel against the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters to Thursday, July 19.
“The PBA is cancelling its game today due to floods and the continuing inclement weather. Safety and security of the fans, players and officials are always of utmost importance,” the league said in a statement.
“Game 2 of the best-of-5 semifinals series between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Rain or Shine Elastopainters is rescheduled on Thursday, July 19, 7:00pm at Smart Araneta Coliseum.”
This comes as Typhoon Henry has caused floods and strong winds in the country.
Earlier, the NCAA also postponed its games.
