NCAA postpones Tuesday games

Due to the inclument weather brought about by Typhoon Henry, the NCAA has cancelled all of the seniors basketball games scheduled today, July 17.

The cancellation was announced during the opening quarter of the Perpetual Junior Altas’ tilt against the Arellano Braves earlier.

The Altas (1-1) were supposed to take on the debuting Arellano Chiefs in the opening game of the day. The Chiefs have yet to play a game this season, as their supposed debut game last week was also postponed.

This was supposed to be followed by the rivalry game pitting Intramuros neighbors Letran Knights (0-1) and the Mapua Cardinals (1-0).

Closing out the day would have been a joust between defending champions San Beda Red Lions (1-0) and the JRU Heavy Bombers (0-1).

The triple-header will be postponed to a later date, most likely during the week of August 20.
