Palos, Yowe connive vs SMG as Execration climbs TI10 Qualifiers lower bracket rung

Jinn “Palos” Lamatao and Yuri “Yowe” Pacana joined hands in Game Three to help Execration eliminate Team SMG via a 2-1 victory in The International 10 Southeast Asia regional qualifiers, Thursday night.

Coming off a deflating Game Two loss, Execration bounced back big time in Game Three to score a huge 42-12 victory in just 34 minutes and seven seconds.

Palos’ monster Terrorblade outing delivered a game-high 16 kills laced with two deaths and nine assists while Yowe, who was struggling all throughout the qualifiers, came alive with 10 kills and 21 assists against just a death, playing Invoker in the series-clinching Game Three.

Execration offlaner Nikko “Nikko” Bilacura also made his presence felt with nine kills and 25 assists against just four deaths.

On the other hand, Team SMG carry Yeik “MidOne” Nai Zheng’s Drow Ranger was held to just two kills, seven deaths, and six assists.

Palos (Ember Spirit) and Yowe (Templar Assassin) were also the protagonists in Execration’s dominant 41-18 Game One victory over the veteran-laden Team SMG in just 43 minutes and four seconds.

Palos tallied monster numbers of 14 kills and 19 assists against just five deaths while Yowe played efficiently, putting up eight kills and 21 assists against three deaths.

Team SMG came back in Game Two with vengeance, taking down Execration through a 34-8 stomp on the back of Kam “Moon” Boon Seng’s Death Prophet who put up a monster 13-1-13 stat line in just 35 minutes and 35 seconds.

Veteran offlaner Damien “kpii” Chok bounced back from a poor Game One outing, registering seven kills and 17 assists against just one death playing Razor while MidOne Chaos Knight had five kills, three deaths, and 17 assists in Game Two.
