Filipino gamers are set for a whole new experience as ONE Esports joins forces with Unilever Philippines.
The esports arm of ONE Championship partnered with Unilever’s most popular male grooming brands – Axe, Clear Men, and Master – for a campaign called Gamers Assemble, which will serve the ever-growing gaming community in the Philippines.
“I’m proud to announce that Unilever and ONE Esports are partnering to bring the ‘Gamers Assemble’ series of challenges to the Filipino esports community,” said ONE Esports CEO Carlos Alimurung.
“Players now have the opportunities to compete in community tournaments to prove their skill and test their deep game knowledge in the ‘Master the Game’ quiz. Esports was born from the community, and it’s great to provide more opportunities for the community to compete and engage.”
The partnership is good news for players of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, the top 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena game in the Philippines because the campaign was created specifically for them.
From newbies to pro gamers, the community tournaments and various challenges will cater to players of all levels, and the campaign will conclude at the Mobile Legends Invitational in Jakarta in December 2020.
“As we navigate through challenging times distanced from each other, creating experiences that keep connections strong and bring people together becomes even more important,” said Country Media Manager of Unilever Philippines Macce Samarista.
“Online gaming has become increasingly relevant to our consumers as it provides a means to connect amidst the lockdown,” she added.
“Unilever Philippines is excited to partner with ONE Esports to support the gaming community and the cause of bringing people together through our brands. Gamers, assemble!”
