ONE Esports just went from zero to a hundred real quick. They will be presenting the GR Supra GT Cup Asia 2020 Regional Rounds, which will kick off this July in various parts of Southeast Asia.
Together with Toyota Motor Asia Pacific and Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR), the team will bring together the finest “Gran Turismo Sport” drivers in the region for a series of qualifiers in different countries.
The deal was announced last Wednesday, as the ONE Championship subsidiary continues to expand its reach in the world of esports.

“The GR Supra GT Cup Asia 2020 is an opportunity to showcase the pure power of the GR Supra, and the incredible driving skill of the best ‘Gran Turismo Sport’ players in Asia. ONE Esports is honored to present this event, and we look forward to crowning the best driver in Asia.”
The Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and India will hold tournaments to decide who goes through to the Regional Final.
The tournament will run from July to September, with the local Toyota distributors in each country hosting the said tournament.
TGR launched the GR Supra Cup last year when over 800,000 users purchased the car in PlayStation 4. It hopes to gather data and input from virtual Supra drivers to aid the car development in real life.
