OhMyV33nus surpasses Yellyhaze for the all-time leader

Blacklist International’s Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna made history over the weekend by leapfrogging Jeniel “YellyHaze” Bata-anon of Nexplay Evos in the all-time leaders in assists, in a double celebration for the team after sweeping Smart Omega in Week 2 of the MPL Philippines Season 11.

Villaluna, or “The Queen” as she is affectionately known, has now accumulated an impressive 2,266 assists in her career, which started in Season 4 with Onic Philippines. This achievement is a testament to her consistency and dedication to the game, having skipped Season 9 to rest and prepare for the M4 World Championship, yet not missing a beat in Season 10, where she led her team to another MPL championship, becoming one of the winningest players in MPL PH history with three titles under her belt.

“Syempre nakakaproud and super happy kasi para maachieve mo yung ganung achievement kelangan mo talagang tumagal sa liga. Para sakin ayan yung pinakamahirap maachieve ngayon sa esports especially sa ML kasi maladalang ang players na sobrang tumatagal,” shared the Blacklist captain.

Villaluna’s shotcalling prowess is essential to her team’s success as Season 11 progresses, as they aim to avenge their M4 World Championship defeat to Echo and secure another back-to-back MPL PH championship for a possible record fourth title with long-time teammate Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.

“The Queen” is proud of her achievement, as it highlights the importance of consistency in the esports industry, particularly in Mobile Legends. She hopes to inspire other players to aim for longevity in their careers, as this is the key to achieving such significant milestones in the esports scene.

“Ibig sabihin lang nun (pagkuha ng assists record) tumagal ako. Consistent. Consistency. Kasi yan ang pinakagoal ngayong season,” she said.

As the MPL Philippines Season 11 continues, Villaluna and Blacklist International are sure to keep fans on the edge of their seats as they strive to add another trophy to their impressive collection. The Queen’s historic achievement is sure to motivate her teammates and remind them of the importance of hard work and dedication to the game.
