Caelum Harris will not join University of Nevada for its upcoming season.
According to a report by Nevada Sports Net, the 19-year-old Filipino-American winger had some of his classes from his senior year at PHHoenix Prep, which is not recognized by the NCAA.
As a result, he has to attend junior college before becoming eligible next season.
Harris was looking forward to playing for the Wolf Pack after committing to the school a year ago.
The 6-foot-6 forward played for PHHoenix Prep and the Diamond Doves in Overtime Elite.
With the Diamond Doves, he averaged 2.6 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.
He was also part of Fil-Am Nation Select during its golden run in the 2024 Smart-NBTC National Finals.
It is now unknown whether he will spend a year at junior college or go elsewhere.
