MPL PH: TNC continues to roll, drops Blacklist to 0-2

TNC sustained its fine form to hand Blacklist International its second loss, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season Nine, Saturday night.

A passive early game from Blacklist International, which has Paquito as its core, heavily favored TNC’s Daniel “SDzyz” Chu’s Lancelot, which has Mage Killer as its emblem in Game One.

TNC built its lead from there and never looked back. They pounced on the helpless Blacklist International, which struggled to find an opening all throughout the match.

SDzyz led TNC with seven kills and two assists without a single death in the 15-5 Game One win in 16 minutes and two seconds. Meanwhile, Robee “Yasuwo” Pormocille’s Clint added three kills and six assists.

During Game Two, Yasuwo (Beatrix) and Kramm (Esmeralda) switched lanes to match up against Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap (Dyroth) and Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (Chou), respectively.

The switch-up gave Blacklist International a hard time in the laning phase, with TNC taking an almost 3K gold lead past the six-minute mark.

EDWARD managed to come back from the early deficit to keep Blacklist International in the game, but TNC concealed play which took out OHEB in the 12:17-mark. That then handed TNC a free run at the Lord, which resulted in a Turret wipe.

Blacklist International stood its ground with Mark “ESON” Gerardo’s Cecillion leading the defense. A kill on ESON late in the match sealed the sweep.

Jomarie “Escalera” Delos Santos, who played a stellar Valentina, starred in the win with two kills, four deaths, and seven assists.

Mark “Kramm” Rusiana’s Esmeralda had four kills, a death, and three assists in the 12-13 Game Two win in 18 minutes and 45 seconds.
