MPL PH: Jowm clutch play propels Smart Omega to victory over Aurora

Smart Omega ended Aurora’s two-game win streak with a 2-1 victory in their MPL Philippines match on Saturday at the Green Sun Hotel in Makati.

The turning point came in Game 3 when Aurora attempted to take down Jomari “Jowm” Pingol (Moskov) in the bot lane. Jowm survived the attempt and turned the tide with a decisive four-to-nothing trade.

This allowed Smart Omega to secure the Lord in the 11th minute and finish the game by the 13th minute.

Smart Omega will next face Team Liquid Philippines on September 21 at 7:30 PM. Meanwhile, Aurora will look to recover as they take on Falcons AP.Bren on Sunday, also at 7:30 PM.

Both matches will be held at the same venue in Makati.
