MPL PH: DomengAR catapults Minana to consecutive wins in thriller over TNC

Minana Evos finally secured their first consecutive wins after achieving a much-needed 2-1 victory over TNC Pro Team in Week 4 of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League (MPL) Philippines Season 12, held at the Shooting Gallery Studios in Makati City on Sunday.

This win marked only their third victory of the season, but it was sufficient to propel Minana ahead of Smart Omega, who had nine points, in the standings as they improved to 10 points.

Game 1 witnessed a decisive moment during a late 20th-minute lord fight, where Jan “DomengAR” Delmundo (Claude) executed a clever attack from the right flank, resulting in a 3-0 wipe and securing the lord objective.

DomengAR then showcased impressive mechanical skills as he outplayed John Vincent “Innocent” Banal (Irithel) in a 1-on-1 showdown moments later, marking Minana’s opening victory.

Game 2 saw both teams engaged in a closely contested battle, with no significant lead established until a skirmish in the 17th minute resulted in a 4-1 wipe in favor of TNC. Innocent (Karrie) then concluded the match with a double kill in the closing moments, forcing a rubber match with a 20-minute win.

In Game 3, DomengAR took control, finishing with a stellar 5-0-2 KDA on the Wanwan pick, contributing to Minana’s 10-2 kill tally, and securing the series victory by the 18th minute.
