MPL: OHEB leads way as Blacklist International routs Bren

Blacklist International cruised to its third consecutive victory after sweeping Bren Esports, 2-0, in the MPL Philippines Season 10 at the ICITE Auditorium, Saturday night.

The reigning M3 world champions solidified their hold of the top spot with a 3-0 standing.

“Nung Game One alamvnamin kayang-kaya namin yung Franco nun e. May nangyari lang in-game na basta, secret. Pero pinaguusapan namin na kayang-kaya namin yung Franco,” said Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario after the win.

Entering the 18th minute of Game One, Blacklist International got the much-needed separation when it took down Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo (Franco), Vincent “Pandora” Unigo (Dyroth), and Jomari “Jowm” Pingol (Claude) during a Lord fight in the top lane.

Wise (Balmond) took down the objective as Blacklist International marched to the middle lane to finish the game.

Leading the win was Salic “Hadji” Imam, who finished with three kills, a death, and nine assists in the 16-12 Game One win which lasted for 22 minutes.

The Tier One-backed squad then completely overpowered Bren Esports in Game Two, only needing two Lords to finish the match via sweep.

A five-man wipe in the 14th minute ended the match.

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano (Beatrix) led the way with seven kills and four assists against one death in the 15-5 Game Two victory. Hadji (Pharsa) added a 3-1-7 KDA line while Wise (Benedetta) had two kills and four assists.

Bren Esports went down to 1-3 after the loss.

Blacklist International will face ONIC PH on Friday at 6:00 PM while Bren Esports will go up against RSG PH next Saturday at 4:00 PM.
