The Dreamcatcher, The Golden Boy, and The Demolition Man all under one roof
Gegard Mousasi (42-6-2) is set to return to Manila as he, together with Filipino UFC fighters CJ de Tomas (8-0) and Jenel Lausa (7-3), will hold an open workout on Friday, May 5 at the Glorietta 2 Activity Center in Makati City.
Mousasi, 31, was part of the historic UFC Fight Night Manila card last May of 2016, defeating Costas Philippou via a unanimous decision in the co-main event of the card. The Tehran, Iran-born fighter has won his last five bouts and is currently the number 4 ranked middleweight in the world.
De Tomas is the UFC’s newest talent, signing with the promotion early April. The unbeaten prospect will make his promotional debut on June 17 when he faces Naoki Inoue on UFC Fight Night 111 in the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore.
The Demolition Man, on the other hand, is currently 1-1 in the UFC. After a sensational debut against Zhikui Yao last November, he dropped his next bout after being outclassed by Magomed Bibulatov last April 8.
Mousasi’s Fighter Tour starts on Thursday, May 4 with a press conference and he will be here until May 7.
