Moonton finally addressed the situation centering on Blacklist International’s choice of hero for the M3 World Championship exclusive skin on Thursday night.
The organization clarified that there is still no final hero for the exclusive skin. Moreover, Moonton said that they are cooperating with Blacklist International regarding the issue.
“We are aware of the various discussions within community groups and threads on the M3 champion skin, and we are paying great focus to this issue at hand,” the statement opened.
“We would like to clarify that the M3 Champion Skin has not yet been determined, and development is still underway. We are also fully cooperating and listening to the voice of Blacklist International and their players on the final selection.”
In a Facebook livestream last Wednesday, Blacklist International team captain Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna revealed that the game developer picked another hero instead of the team’s initial choice which is Estes.
The former ONIC PH skipper shared that Moonton asked the team for three more hero choices for the exclusive skin. Then, in the following day, OhMyV33NUS said that Moonton informed them of their pick.
OhMyV33NUS admitted that he was hurt by the decision and is hoping that Moonton will reconsider.
“We are proud of their performance in M3 and their ability to unite the Esports spirit in all of us. The voices of our fans, players, and cherished partners greatly matter, and we will continue to keep open communication and hear each other’s opinions, and we hope that you continue to support both MLBB and MLBB Esports and help us improve,” bared Moonton.
“There will be another announcement on the M3 skin in the coming days, and we apologize for causing inconvenience to those affected and the players who have supported and loved us along the way. Thank you for your understanding.”
