It seems like Romeo Travis is making Asia is home.
Thai ball club Mono Vampire BC has just loaded up its roster for the 9th ASEAN Basketball League as it has acquired the services of Romeo Travis and Tyler Lamb, the team announced via social media site Facebook Tuesday afternoon.
This move comes at the heels of Fil-Am Jason Brickman’s departure. Brickman is currently in the Philippines as he will suit up for Mighty Sports in the Dubai Invitational Basketball Tournament, and will focus next on the PBA Draft.
The 6-foot-7 naturalized Macedonian is fresh from winning a championship in the PBA, where he helped the Magnolia Hotshots conquer the 2018 Governors’ Cup. Travis helped the storied franchise win its first championship in four years.
Meanwhile, Lamb will finally play for the Thai ball club after serving as a World Import for Hong Kong Eastern Basketball for some time. The Thai-American combo guard will be playing as a local for last season’s runners-up.
Mono is bent on turning its fortunes around this season, as they are currently owning a 2-11 record.
Mono’s new signees are expected to debut on January 30, when they take on the Zhuhai Wolf Warriors.
