The PBA has summoned Myles Powell and Hayden Blankley for their comments following Bay Area’s Game Three loss in the Commissioner’s Cup Finals.
Commissioner Willie Marcial will talk to the two as they criticized the officiating in the Dragons’ 89-82 defeat to Ginebra, airing their grievances on social media.
Blankley described it as “cooked” in an Instagram Story that has since been deleted, while Powell tweeted about the free throw discrepancy.
Game Three saw the guest team shoot just 10 free throws and got called for 28 fouls. The Barangay, meanwhile, had 38 freebies and only had 12 fouls.
Bay Area lost after leading by as many as 14 in the third.
Dragons head coach Brian Goorjian, meanwhile, will not be summoned contrary to earlier reports, as clarified by Marcial.
