M3: Blacklist beats down RRQ to advance to lower bracket semis

Blacklist International booted out RRQ Hoshi, 3-0, to advance to the lower bracket of the M3 World Championship, Friday at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Game One was for the books with RRQ withstanding Blacklist International’s multiple sieges to stay alive.

The Filipinos, however, managed to close off the Indonesian via a 26-14 win in 35 minutes and 35 seconds of action.

Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario’s phenomenal 13-0-9 outing on Yi Sun-Shin earned him the MVP honors in what could arguably be the best match in the M3 history.

Blacklist International then made quick work of RRQ in the second match, taking a 11-11 win in 14 minutes and 52 seconds.

Edward “Edward” Dapadap’s Phoveus manned the frontline with a kill, four deaths, and four assists.

Kiel “OHEB” Soriano capped off the match with a 10-0-2 performance in the 13-6 Game Three win in 11 minutes and 13 seconds.

Blacklist International will face off against the winner of the Todak-EVOS SG match in the lower bracket semis tomorrow.
