KyleTzy’s Lancelot performance vs Omega was reminiscent of KarlTzy, says Duckey

Bren Esports rookie jungler Kyle “KyleTzy” Sayson’s Lancelot performance in Game Three keyed the team’s 2-1 upset victory over Omega Esports, Friday.

In fact, KyleTzy’s flawless showing was so impressive that head coach Francis “Duckey” Glindro saw similarities between him and a Bren Esports legend.

“It’s actually reminiscent kay Karl, particularly yung Game Three.

“It was the Lancelot (which is) signature hero ni Karl. I can say medyo teary… just kidding. Medyo nagulat ako kasi it was very reminiscent sa performance ni Karl when it comes to the hero which is Lancelot,” Duckey said after the victory.

After helping the team win the second match, KyleTzy took it up a notch in Game Three, scoring seven quick kills in the first seven minutes of the contest that gave Bren Esports a 4K gold advantage.

The performance was highlighted by an insane play during the sixth minute where he took down both Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog’s Chou and Dean “Raizen” Sumagui’s Fanny in between Omega Esports’ middle lane towers.

KyleTzy said that his subpar performance on Fanny in Game Two where he finished with three kills and two deaths fueled his inspired play in the decider.

“Kaya po ganun yung performance ko sa Lancelot kasi sobrang gigil po ako na bumawi. Nung second game po kasi napapangitan po ako sa performance ko sa Fanny, so bumawi na lang po ako sa third game doon ko binuhos yung gigil,” shared the former amateur standout.

“Pangit kasi yung performance ko nung second game kaya binawi ko na lang doon sa third game.”

As for the comparisons, KyleTzy shared that he feels no pressure filling in KarlTzy’s shoes in Bren Esports.

“Di naman po ako masyadong nape-pressure. Bibigay ko na lang din yung best ko, kung ano yung mabibigay ko na best ko yun po.”

Duckey, meanwhile, said that he is very happy with KyleTzy’s development all throughout the season.

“I’m very happy with the development of the kid. It’s his first season in the MPL, I think he’s showing that he’s actually worth giving a shot to show his skills on this platform.”
