KarlTzy out to spoil Blacklist feat, make own history

Blacklist International has a shot to become the first-ever back-to-back champion of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang world championship.

But make no mistake, Johnmar “OhMyV33NUS” Villaluna, Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario, Salic “Hadji” Imam, Kiel “OHEB” Soriano, Edward “Edward” Dapdap, Dexter “DEX STAR” Alaba, and head coach Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza are not the only mobile esports stars who have the opportunity to write history later at the Tennis Indoor Stadium Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia.

ECHO star jungler Karl “Karlzy” Nepomuceno is also on pace to achieve the same feat after he led Bren Esports to the M2 World Championship crown two years ago.

That, however, is not the only thing on the line for the former child prodigy.

Aside from becoming the only two-time world champion, the former M-series MVP wants to become the first player to lead two different teams to the world championship if ECHO dethrones Blacklist International later today.

“Sobrang sarap sa feeling kasi yung ibang players, hindi nila magawa ‘to e yung lilipat sila ng team tapos dadalin nila sa finals [ng world stage] kaya sobrang sarap sa feeling,” said KarlTzy.

KarlTzy steered ECHO to a 3-1 victory over RRQ Hoshi yesterday in the lower bracket finals to set up a date with Blacklist International in the finale.

This is the second time that both finalists of the MPL Philippines composed the top two teams of the M-series grand finals.
