Blacklist International issued an apology to the Mobile Legends community following the actions of Kiel “OHEB” Soriano during the team’s post-match celebration against Omega Esports on Saturday night.
“The management of Blacklist International would like to apologize to our fans, to OMEGA, and the rest of the MPL and ML community for the unsportsmanlike behavior that our player Oheb displayed after our match,” opened Blacklist International’s statement.
OHEB was seen flashing his middle finger after the Game Two win against the SMART-backed squad while being restrained by Danerie “Wise” Del Rosario.
The Tier One-powered squad also bared that the management will be issuing a fine on OHEB. He has since apologized to the management and his teammates according to the statement.
“The management has already talked to him in private about the matter and will issue a fine that will be deducted from his salary for his actions,” the statement continued.
“Oheb acknowledged his behavior and immediately apologized to the rest of the team and the management. He will be issuing his public apology in our post-match interview.”
The 17-year-old gold laner is set to address the incident in Blacklist International’s press conference.
Blacklist International eventually secured the sweep against its rival and tightened its grip of the number one seed with 31 points through a 12-1 standing.
