KarlTzy driven by desire to silence critics of ‘dad’ Jaypee in championship run

Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno just added another accolade to his ever-impressive resume as he bagged his third MPL Philippines championship and looks to seize his first-ever MLBB Mid-Season Cup title in July.

He revealed his motivation behind this season’s championship run for Liquid Echo in an exclusive interview with Tiebreaker Times.

The M2 World Championship MVP shared that he had a light moment with Jaypee in their boot camp before their upper bracket match against Falcons AP.Bren, where he made a promise to bring the 25-year-old jungler to the MSC.

KarlTzy is now tied with multiple players in the league for the most number of MPL PH championships at three and the most number of M-series world championship titles, catapulting him to the ‘greatest of all time’ pedestal.

Although he admits that this championship is a confidence booster, he refuses to accept the G.O.A.T. tag, saying he still needs to achieve more to be worthy of such consideration.

Siguro pag nagaya ko na si Kuya Ribo,” said KarlTzy on why he still doesn’t consider himself as the GOAT.
