Will the Philippine National Volleyball Federation Champion’s League be the last time Kalei Mau don the yellow and black?
The 26-year-old Filipino-American is set to suit up for F2 Logistics in the upcoming tournament set next month.
But after the tournament, Mau shared that everything is up in the air.
“My next move is playing with F2 in the Champions League next month. I’m really excited,” Mau said on Radyo 5’s Power & Play.
“Afterwards, we’ll see.”
Back in 2019, Mau signed with F2 Logistics after the disbandment of United Volleyball Club.
With Mau in the lineup, the Cargo Movers won two PSL championships.
However, with the uncertainty of Philippine volleyball early this year, the 6-foot-2 hitter signed with Puerto Rican team Changos de Naranjito. F2 Logistics, later on, would pull out of the 2021 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.
After the PNVFCL will be the time Mau will ponder her next move in her pro career. And it will either be with another PVL team or in another country altogether.
“I’ve been open to a lot of offers in other countries just because I love the experience and I love playing overseas it’s been very uncertain in the Philippines,” the 2019 PSL MVP bared. “I’ve been kind of interested in hearing what other teams and countries have to offer.
“I’m still negotiating with teams for the PVL conference. They’re one of the leagues that I’m thinking about and really trying to figure out what’s gonna be the best fit and what’s the best move for me and my career.”
