De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde Blazers team captain John Vic de Guzman has had a busy year, even starring in a movie shown last December. But the highlight of his year, and his collegiate volleyball career, is finally being crowned as the Most Valuable Player.
The graduating opposite spiker also led the best of the best student-athletes in the said position.
Adrian Viray of San Beda College Red Spikers and John Cabillan of Arellano University Chiefs were the top outside hitters this season.
Their respective teammates, Limuel Patenio and Kevin Liberato took the award for middle blockers.
Relan Taneo and Jack Kalingking of the defending champions University of Perpetual Help System DALTA Altas received the citations in the setter and libero positions respectively.
The NCAA Season 92 Men’s Volleyball Individual Awarding ceremony was held Tuesday afternoon at the Filoil Flying V Centre, prior to Game Two of the Finals pitting the Perpetual Altas and the Saint Benilde Blazers.
