Jho Maraguinot left to soak in disappointing outing against La Salle

Ateneo’s leading scorer only managed six points in their most crucial match of the season.
Jhoana Maraguinot was fairly consistent through Ateneo’s first 13 games, but was silenced against the DLSU Lady Spikers.
The Batangas-native came up short and the Lady Eagles fell to the third seed and without a twice-to-beat advantage for the first time since Season 76.
“Well, siguro not as confident,” answered the open hitter when asked about her poor showing. “Personally, I have a week to recover naman. Siguro today, I’d soak it all in, accept.
“Tomorrow is a new day. Bounce back na lang.”
Facing a determined FEU side looking to make their first Finals appearance since Season 71, Ateneo is looking to rekindle their lost confidence.
“It all starts with ourselves naman eh. Siguro confidence sa sarili. Para maging confident din kami na magperform for the team.”
