Adamson University will be without main gunner Jerom Lastimosa in its battle against University of Santo Tomas in the UAAP Season 85 men’s basketball tournament later today (Saturday), 1 pm at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
The 5-foot-10 combo guard dislocated his right foot’s big toe at the 5:42 mark of the fourth quarter in the Soaring Falcons’ defeat to University of the Philippines last Wednesday.
The development was confirmed by multiple sources closely monitoring the situation, adding that Lastimosa will be out indefinitely.
Vince Magbuhos, likewise, will not suit up as he injured his right knee during the third frame of their battle against the Fighting Maroons.
Joem Sabandal, Lenda Douanga, and the rest of the Soaring Falcons will have to fill in the shoes of Lastimosa (17.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.25 steals) and Magbuhos (7.8 points, 5.25 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.5 steals, 1.0 blocks)
