Grethcel Soltones is about to enter a new chapter in her career, signing with Akari for the upcoming 2024 Premier Volleyball League season.
Soltones spent the past three PVL seasons with Petro Gazz, helping the squad capture the 2022 Reinforced Conference championship.
The product of San Sebastian also played a key part in the team’s silver-medal finishes in the 2022 Open Conference and the 2023 First All-Filipino Conference.
The 28-year-old spiker from Catmon, Cebu is set to join the Chargers’ core composed of Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Faith Nisperos, Fifi Sharma, Erika Raagas, and Michelle Cobb.
This is the 2017 Open Conference Finals MVP’s 9th team in a Sportsvision-organized league, having previously played for PLDT, Balipure, Iriga, PayMaya, Smart, PLDT, and Petro Gazz.
