Greed_, Killuash, Jaypee get one over former team Execration in Just ML

Aura PH’s Allen “Greed_” Baloy, Ashley “Killuash” Cruz, and Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz got the last laugh over their former teammates in the Just ML Cup, Wednesday evening.

The two-time MPL-Philippines champion scored a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the Kielvj “Kielvj” Hernandez-led Execration in their first meeting since breaking up.

Aura PH had the upper hand in the opening match, but Joshua “Ch4knu” Mangilog (Akai) was able to pin down Mark “Hadess” Lazaro (Lancelot) with the Hurricane Dance. That allowed Kielvj (Ling) to steal the Lord from Aura PH’s hands.

Execration was able to snatch Game One, but wasn’t lucky enough in Game Two. Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales’ Chou – who left Execration in November – helped Aura PH tie the series at 1-all.

Aura PH then dominated Game Three, giving Kielvj and Renz “Renzio” Cadua a harsh Execration debut.

Hadess (Ling) won MVP honors in Game Three, putting up six kills, a death, and five assists for Aura PH. Bennyqt (Wanwan) added six kills, two deaths, and six assists, while Killuash had four kills, a death, and three assists.

Aura PH team captain Christian “Rafflesia” Fajura sat out the reunion bout.

Meanwhile, Kielvj (Lancelot) had five kills, four deaths, and three assists. Renzio (Pharsa) was held to just a kill, six deaths, and five assists.

Kielvj and Renzio were released by Aura PH last November. The team then signed Bennyqt and Hadess a week after.
