Mula Mandirigma sa Mandirigma
Gilas 3×3 and Perlas 3×3 will be fully armed for battle come the 2018 FIBA 3×3 World Cup.
After the success of last year’s LeBron 14 decked out in the same style and inspiration, the Filipino-inspired theme ‘Agimat’ returns once again this year in the LeBron Soldier 12 – the latest in King James’ signature basketball shoe line.
Featuring a simplified strap, lower collar, and circular knit upper, the shoe is a celebration of the Pinoy’s tough and enduring spirit, especially on the basketball court. Once again carrying the tagline, “Mula Mandirigma sa Mandirigma”, the shoe boldly shouts local cultural Filipino elements.
It also features unique symbolism that pays tribute to both LeBron James and the Philippines.
And what better way for the shoe to make its debut than in the biggest stage in 3×3 basketball, which is the upcoming FIBA 3×3 World Cup this June 8-12 at the Philippine Arena in Bocaue, Bulacan.
Stanley Pringle, Christian Standhardinger, Troy Rosario, and Roger Pogoy will don the country’s colors with the Agimat in the men’s division while Afril Bernardino, Jack Danielle Animam, Gemma Miranda, and Janine Pontejos will represent the Philippines in the women’s division.
The shoe is set to release globally on June 15th, including the Philippines.
Limited pairs will drop at Nike Park Fort, Glorietta, Mall of Asia and Trinoma. Retail price is 6,745 PHP.
