One-hundred and twelve days after losing the ONE Flyweight World Championship, Geje Eustaquio will begin his journey to redemption.
Eustaquio (11-7) is set to return inside the ONE Circle on Friday, May 17 as he takes on debuting South Korean upstart Kim Kyu Sung (9-2) during Singapore’s uber-deep ONE: Enter the Dragon card.
Prior to this, he was able to defeat Moraes to unify the belt and best contender Kairat Akhmetov prior.
Eustaquio will have his work cut out for him as he takes on one of the top stars of Korean promotion TFC in Kim.
The 26-year-old fighter out of First Gym is currently ranked as the top flyweights in South Korea. He has won his last two fights via knockout.
Besides this, Enter the Dragon will have a stacked card headlined by a ONE Lightweight Championship match pitting Evolve MMA teammates Shinya Aoki and Christian Lee.
In the co-main event, a new world champion will be crowned as Dutch kickboxing superstar Nieky Holzken will take on countryman Regian Eersel for the inaugural ONE Lightweight Kickboxing World Championship.
Former UFC middleweight Sage Northcutt (11-2) will also make his ONE Championship debut against Cosmo Alexandre (7-1).
The first semifinal of the ONE World Lightweight Grand Prix will also take place as Ariel Sexton (13-4) faces Dagi Guseyn Arslanaliev (7-1).
Eight of the world’s best kickboxers will also take the stage in the ONE World Kickboxing Grand Prix.
Two-division Lumpinee Stadium World Champion and WMC World Champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy of Thailand draws 2-time K-1 World Max Champion Giorgio “The Doctor” Petrosyan of Italy in the first round, while two-division Lion Fight World Champion Smokin’ Jo Nattawut of Thailand faces 2-time K-1 World Max Champion Andy “Souwer Power” Souwer of Amsterdam
In the other bracket, the legendary Yodsanklai “The Hero” IWE Fairtex of Thailand takes on WBC and A1 Muay Thai World Champion Samy “AK47” Sana of France, while 2-time Russian Challenge and 2-time TNA Kickboxing World Champion Dzhabar “Gengis Khan” Askerov of Russia takes on former K-1 World Champion Enriko “The Hurricane” Kehl of Germany.
Also part of the card are former ONE champions Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke and Alex Silva and contenders Amir Khan and Mei Yamaguchi.
The Philippines’ own Richard Corminal (4-4) opens the event against India’s Rahul Raju (5-4).
