From Hitman to Healman: Renejay transitions into support heroes

With the shift in the current meta brought about by the recent patch, Blacklist International roamer Renejay “Renejay” Barcase has joined the “healing party.”

During their 2-1 victory over TNC Pro Team in Week 3 of the MPL Philippines Season 12, Renejay, known for his tanky heroes, utilized the Mathilda and Rafaela picks, which quickly earned him the new “healman” moniker.

Previously nicknamed Hitman due to his explosive plays, Renejay told Tiebreaker Times that the patch actually worked in their favor, especially since he is already familiar with the buffed support heroes.

Malaki yung adjustment ko sa playstyle pero nalalaro ko na siya dati pa yung paglalaro ng support heroes sa practice namin,” he said.

Despite the victorious debut of his support picks, Renejay is far from satisfied with his performance.

With Blacklist securing their fourth win in the last five matches, they will become a more dangerous team with Renejay providing flexibility in the roamer position.
