Falcons AP.Bren dominates See You Soon, earns MSC semifinal berth against Liquid ECHO

By: Jan Marcus Montevirgen

Falcons AP.Bren has set up an all-Filipino matchup against Team Liquid ECHO in the semifinals of the 2024 Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC).

The former MPL Philippines champion eliminated See You Soon from MSC 2024 with a commanding 3-0 sweep on Thursday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The semifinals are scheduled for Friday at 4:00 PM.

Falcons AP.Bren had a dominant performance.

In Game 1, they controlled team fights and denied the early game advantage of the Malaysian team, finishing the game in just 12 minutes with a 13-1 score.

David “FlapTzy” Canon (Arlott) ended the game flawlessly with five kills and seven assists.

Game 2 saw FCAP initially struggle as See You Soon took the early advantage with Michae “MPTheKing” Endino’s Bane securing first blood on FlapTzy (Terizla).

However, Michael “KyleTzy” Sayson’s (Hayabusa) retribution plays and Marco “Super Marco” Requitiano’s (Harith) damage turned the game in Falcons AP.Bren’s favor.

In Game 3, it was a fierce battle as MPTheKing (Roger) fought hard, but Falcons AP.Bren secured the series victory thanks to Rowgien “Owgwen” Unigo’s (Tigreal) decisive play in the final skirmish.

Kennt Anthony “Souuul” Baesa (Natan) denied Owgwen’s push, but Falcons AP.Bren capitalized on aggressive plays, catching three members with their skills and securing a significant advantage.

With the win over See You Soon, Falcons AP.Bren now aims for redemption against Team Liquid ECHO in the MSC 2024 semifinals.

This matchup is a rematch of the grand finals in MPL Philippines Season 13.
