After over a year with Far Eastern University, Elize Ronquillo has found a new home.
Ronquillo is eager to write a new chapter in her collegiate career, taking her act to National University.
The promising hitter herself confirmed the development to reporters on Wednesday, although she didn’t go into details on her sudden transfer.
Ronquillo added that she’s already enrolled in NU. Therefore, she’s already serving her residency year to join the Lady Bulldogs in time for Season 83.
The willowy spiker has also started training with the team. And her transition from FEU to NU was made easier by the Lady Bulldogs, who welcomed her with open arms.
When NU stunned the UST Golden Tigresses in its UAAP Season 82 campaign opener, Ronquillo was even seen watching alongside Ces Robles and Joyme Cagande.
Coincidentally, the team that NU faced on Wednesday was the other program that she was looking to be a part of.
At the end of the day, Ronquillo left FEU in good terms before turning a new page of her career.
