ECHO retains M4-winning core for MPL PH 11

ECHO will retain its M4 World Championship-winning roster for its title campaign in the MPL Philippines Season 11.

M4 Finals MVP Benedict “Bennyqt” Gonzales, Karl “KarlTzy” Nepomuceno, and Tristan “Yawi” Cabrera will once again spearhead ECHO’s bid to claim its first MPL Philippines title.

The troika will be backed by up-and-comers Sanford “Sanford” Vinuya and Alston “Sanji” Pabico.

ECHO content creator Jian “Jian” Magtibay will round up the team’s six-man roster.

Former ECHO reserves Jaypee “Jaypee” Dela Cruz, Jankurt “KurTzy” Matira, and Jhonville “OUTPLAYED” Villar, and Mark Justine “Zaida” Palma were relegated to the team’s MDL team ECHO Proud.

Archie “Tictac” Reyes will once again lead the team as head coach while Robert “Trebor” Sanchez will serve as lead deputy.

ECHO played in the Season 10 grand finals but lost to Blacklist International in the grand finals. The team then claimed revenge against the same team in the M-series finale where they scored a stunning sweep en route to the world title.

The reigning world titlist will open its campaign against the Tier One-backed squad on February 17, Friday at 4:00 PM.
