TNC Pro Team remains winless in the current standings of MPL Philippines Season 14, and assistant coach Patrick “E2MAX” Caidic is urging his team to focus on addressing their weaknesses as they approach their remaining matches.
According to E2MAX, the key to improving is maintaining momentum throughout the game, particularly in the crucial late stages.
The team has shown strength in the early and mid-game phases of previous matches, but consistently falls short in late-game decision-making – ultimately costing them both individual matches and the entire series.
Mag-focus doon sa mga weaknesses namin, ‘tas ma-maintain yung mga strengths ng team,” said the 28-year-old coach during the post-match interview.
Caidic highlighted their recent match against Bren Esports, noting that Bren controlled all phases of the game, unlike TNC’s previous matches where they at least held the early and mid-game.
He emphasized the challenges they faced in the match against Bren, particularly their opponents’ map control and wave management in Game 2.
So kailangan talagang bumawi.”
Despite their winless record, TNC remains positive heading into the second half of the season. The team’s confidence is bolstered by their strong performance during practice sessions, and they believe they can compete with the reigning world champions.
He continued to highlight the confidence the team gained from their practice sessions, stating, “All throughout noong linggo, sobrang ganda rin ng mga resulta pagdating sa practice. May confidence talaga kami ngayon sa AP.Bren na kaya naming makasabay.”
E2MAX also revealed that the team’s motivation stems from their “Trust the process” mindset. Despite their poor record, they believe in their system and are focused on building the synergy needed for the remaining matches.
He further explained that while the team has faced numerous losses, they have also gained valuable lessons from those defeats.
E2MAX concluded by emphasizing the importance of patience and perseverance, saying, “Kailangan naming bumangon sa mga pagkakamali namin and maniwala lang kami sa proseso ng improvements.
